Presenta Verónica Delgadillo iniciativa para combatir la pornografía y el turismo sexual de menores

“¿Qué futuro estamos construyendo si nuestras niñas y niños están siendo violentadas y violentados, abusados y explotados?, cuestionó la senadora Verónica Delgadillo.
La iniciativa busca coordinar a todas las autoridades y darles facultades para combatir el turismo sexual infantil y para que implementen todas las medidas necesarias para proteger a niñas, niños y adolescentes en México.
La propuesta va acompañada de un Punto de Acuerdo por la cual se exhorta a la Fiscalía General de la República y al Poder Ejecutivo Federal a combatir los delitos de turismo sexual y pornografía en contra de menores de edad,
“México ocupa el segundo lugar en el mundo en turismo sexual infantil. De acuerdo a algunas estimaciones en México más de 20 mil niñas y niños están siendo abusadas, están siendo prostituidas y están formando parte del turismo sexual”, explicó la senadora Verónica Delgadillo al presentar una iniciativa de ley por la que se reforma y adiciona el artículo 116 de la Ley General de los Derechos de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes en materia de combate en contra de la pornografía y turismo sexual de menores.
En ese sentido y para complementar su propuesta, la senadora Verónica Delgadillo presentó una proposición con Punto de Acuerdo por la cual se exhorta a la Fiscalía General de la República y al Poder Ejecutivo Federal a combatir los delitos de turismo sexual y pornografía en contra de menores de edad, así como al Sistema Nacional de Protección Integral a consolidar, fortalecer y poner en marcha su sistema de información y registro nacional, con el objetivo de medir integralmente los avances en el combate a la violencia directa que sufren niñas, niños y adolescentes.
La legisladora recordó que hace un año se logró prohibir el matrimonio infantil en todo México; sin embargo, existen temas pendientes por legislar. “¿Qué futuro estamos construyendo si nuestras niñas y nuestros niños están siendo violentadas y violentados, abusados, explotados?, ¿qué estamos haciendo si más de 20 mil niñas y niños están siendo víctimas de abuso y prostitución infantil?”, cuestionó.
Por ello, la iniciativa que propone busca implementar y ejecutar las acciones y políticas de combate en contra de la pornografía y turismo sexual de menores, así como adoptar medidas de protección especial de derechos de niñas, niños y adolescentes que hayan sido víctimas de estos delitos. “Las quiero invitar a que impulsemos esta iniciativa que busca coordinar a todas las autoridades y darles facultades para que trabajen en conjunto para combatir el turismo sexual infantil y para que implementen todas las medidas necesarias para proteger a nuestras niñas y nuestros niños de México y a nuestras juventudes”, dijo.
“México tiene muchas capas rotas pero no dejemos que se rompan más, hagamos que la única preocupación que tengan los niños y las niñas de México sea soñar qué hombres y mujeres quieren ser”, finalizó su mensaje.
